I’m so glad that you’ve realized everything was the winter hiatus’ fault

Ringer, on the other hand, he had to let go of because viewers failed to stick with it when it returned after its winter hiatus. In a moment of reflection, CW president Mark Pedowitz told a handful of reporters that he would have done a few things differently if he had it to do all over again. First, he would have paired it with Hart of Dixie on Mondays; and second, he would have encouraged more satisfying conclusion to episodes eight, nine and ten. Still, he insists star — and, if his inbox is any indication, fan favorite — Sarah Michelle Gellar will be back on his network, either as a producer or a star.

Monday would not have worked. Tuesday at 9 was the best slot. SATISFYING CONCLUSIONS TO ANY OF THE EPISODES WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!!

I don’t know what they last part means. I’m intrigued.

I voted for “Gossip Girl” because that show and I go way back, but “Ringer”s already winning so I don’t feel guilty. I ranted in my head about how much I hate E! and their polls and their false promises. (E! I know the outcome wasn’t your fault, but you still owe me a deleted scene). Flashbacks!!! Is it over yet? Can I open my eyes? That turned into a sample. 

Um…off track…vote for “Ringer” and let’s keep bringing attention to the show. More Juliet and Tessa please.

Honestly this is great. It’s a small show going against massive ones and it didn’t get beat by much. We basically have a quarter of the audience as the other shows and we still got third. Really it’s impressive. Great job. We’ll have to keep waiting to see if it made a difference.

E! Online Article about the “Ringer” finale and what could be coming up in Season 2 if it’s renewed. Spoilers for the final episode. 

“Viewers’ expectations going into the series were rather high, given Gellar’s highly-anticipated return to TV, and it’s no secret that a lot of them were let down. However, the series seemed to have hit its stride in the final string of episodes. So why did viewers have trouble connecting in the beginning? “I think we challenged our viewers. We threaded in a lot of mysteries, a lot of conspiracies; you had to pay attention. I think, like any new show, it takes time to fall in love with the characters and get invested in their stories,” Snyder says. Charmelo agrees, adding, “I think we just had a lot of set up in the beginning.” 

Challenged me? Not really. Your “mysteries” and “conspiracies” were always wrapped up in the next episode. There was no point in learning anyone’s name, because they would die. “It takes time to fall in love with characters and get invested in their stories”. Please. Movies do it all the time and they only have 120 mins. I’ve fallen in love with characters in 5 mins. You had 968. You failed.

Make it character driven. Not plot driven. Make me care about the characters instead of waiting for me to do it on my own. 

The outline for next season sounds worse. “A softside to Siobhan”? “More focus on the Bridget and Andrew relationship?” No thanks. 

People know it just needs to stay at 2nd place until 7 right?

1.156 million for last night’s finale. Since I forgot to talk about that. It’s whatever. Doesn’t actually bode well, but whatever.

How sad is it that this counts as a spoiler? Not really a spoiler, since he was in the promo, but in all seriousness, I would not have expected him to be in this episode, because I don’t think he exists.
